Established in 1964, the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre serves as a gathering point for the Japanese Canadian community and for those of non-Japanese ancestry who have an interest in things Japanese. The JCCC offers a wide variety of Japanese cultural programs for its 4,400 members and over 200,000 annual visitors. The Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre is truly a multicultural centre which, in the spirit of its motto ‘Friendship through Culture’, also hosts numerous events in collaboration with other ethnic groups that do not have cultural facilities of their own. The JCCC is a non-profit registered charity.
