Sponsorship overview
The Documentary Organization of Canada (DOC) is the collective voice of independent documentary makers in Canada. We believe in the power of documentary to connect people, to contribute to Canada’s economic growth, and to positively impact our society and culture.
For 36 years, DOC has championed the place of documentary in this country’s cultural and media
landscape. We are the proud founders of Hot Docs Film Festival and POV Magazine. Through top-notch professional development and networking opportunities such as our
workshops, masterclasses, and mentorship programs, we help Canadian documentary creators get their work produced and seen.
DOC is proud to be a bilingual, national arts service organization and a registered charity.
